This custom satin nitrocellulose Collings OM1 JL is an extraordinary acoustic masterpiece inspired by the distinct sonic preferences of jazz guitar legend Julian Lage. Combining a premium Sitka spruce top with Honduran mahogany back and sides, this featherweight instrument tips the scales at a mere 3 pounds 10 ounces while projecting immense acoustic clarity and a warm, woody midrange. The mahogany neck features a custom JL carve that replicates Lage's favorite vintage neck, blending seamlessly with a compound-radius ebony fingerboard for an exceptionally fast, natural-feeling hand posture. Built with custom pre-war scalloped X-bracing and a satin-finished soundboard, it delivers a uniquely expressive dynamic range with a quick, vintage-style response. Complete with elegant tortoise binding, relic nickel Waverly tuners, and its deluxe hardshell case, this rare boutique orchestra model brings an inspiring new energy to any collection.
